You do not need to know the technical answer before you call. You just need to know what you are seeing. A few details help us scope the job accurately and give you a useful number on the first call.

For a repair or troubleshooting call, it helps to know:

• Which outlets, breakers, or fixtures are affected
• Whether the problem is in one room or across multiple areas
• Whether anything changed before the problem started, like a new appliance, recent work, or a storm
• Whether the breaker has tripped, and whether it resets or will not hold

For an installation or upgrade, it helps to know:

• What you are adding or replacing, such as a panel, a circuit, a charger, or a fixture
• The current panel size if you know it, and where the work needs to land in the home
• Whether the property is residential or commercial

If you are not sure what any of that means, call anyway. The person who answers can ask the right questions and work through the scope with you.
